Lineup Information

FIRST: Know the Rules

Participant Drop Off

The designated participant drop off location is the grassy area which is to the right once you enter the Fairground Gates. Feel free to leave your vehicle here temporarily while escorting participants to their lineup location but no vehicles should be left inside the gates after the parade has stepped off.

Participant Pick Up

It is suggested that participants who are dropped off plan to be picked up from downtown and that you coordinate a place that makes sense for your group to meet. The Parade officially ends at the corner of Park Avenue and F Street - limited pickup parking is available on Park Avenue. Butler County Regional Transit offers rides back to the fairgrounds from the parade's ending point but we do not guarantee transportation availability.

Park and Walk Option

Those walking in the parade can leave their vehicles in the front parking lot of the Butler County Fairgrounds. Please carpool where possible and NOTE that the fairgrounds will be closed after the parade leaves. No vehicles or personal belongings should be left inside the gates. Butler County Regional Transit offers rides back to the fairgrounds from the parade's ending point but we do not guarantee transportation availability.

Water and Bathrooms

There will be a porta potty available at the entrance of the fairgrounds as well as on F street at the end of the parade. Water bottles will also be available as has been in past years. Please feel free to bring additional snacks or beverages with you that your parade unit may want.

Day of Event Contact

Our local Lindenwald Kiwanis Club of Hamilton/Fairfield handles all day of the event activities. If you have any questions please touch base with any of their volunteers at the Fairground.

Weather

Hamilton’s 4th of July Parade is always on July 4th rain or shine. In the event of severe weather the parade may be delayed or canceled the day of the event.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

Are you looking for something fun to do the morning of July 4th? We are always in need of volunteers to help marshall parade units into formation from 8am - 11am!
