For All Units

Reasonable Decorum

The 4th of July Parade is a community celebration, reasonable decorum is expected from all parade participants at all times. All amplification must be approved by the committee prior to use and the Committee reserves the right to remove any unit from the parade at any time.

No Distribution of Materials

Per Hamilton Police Department guidelines, distribution of any materials (including candy, flyers, balloons, buttons, stickers, or toys) is strictly prohibited.

Limit Sirens & Air Horns

Sirens and air horns exceed 120 decibels and are extremely loud. Please use them sparingly, especially near crowds and the TV Hamilton camera area.

Important Notice

If your unit cannot follow these rules or if you have any questions, you must contact the committee prior to the parade. These rules are in place for the safety of all spectators. Thank you.

General Info

Line Up & Route Details

Line will be at the Butler County Fairgrounds, gates open at 8:30 AM. You will be sent details as to your location in the parade. The parade steps off at 10 AM.

** There are at least:

  • 6-90 degree Left and Right turns that your unit MUST negotiate

  • 3 uphill and 3 downhill portions of the route

  • a height restriction of approximately 14 feet.
